Today I was going to visit the Imperial War Museum at Duxford. On the way, I called in to Luton Airport for a quick visit. I headed up to the top floor of car park 2 for a quick look , then headed to the southern perimeter. Luton is primarily used for holiday charters, budget airlines and business jets.
EasyJet and WizzAir were the most prominent, and Ryanair also fly here. Here are Easyjet Airbus A320NEO G-UZHD and Airbus A319 G-EZBA. WizzAir also fly a mix of Airbus aircraft including A321 HA-LXC, A321NEO HA-LVB and A320 9H-WZR. This Ryanair Boeing 737 EI-DLG was their only flight in the time I was there.
An unexpected visitor was El Al Being 737-900ER 4X-EHE
There was an interesting selection of Executive jets here including Airbus A319 VT-IAH (with Challenger HB-JTZ, Falcon 7X B-8023 and Global 7500 VT-ASR in the foreground), Global 6000 9H-JBJ and Boeing BBJ B-221Z (with Global 5500 N120QS and Cessna 560 9H-MGM in the foreground) parked around the airport.
On the move were Legacy 600 G-LEGC, Global 7500s 9H-VIQ and 9H-VISTA, Hawker 400XP SP-TTA and Gulfstream 550 P4-BAR
