Happy New Year - Adelaide fireworks
This year we headed up to Light's Vision on Montefiore Hill, to watch the new year fireworks. This monument to Colonel William Light, South Australia's first Surveyor General has a view across the city he began surveying in 1836. There is a lovely park here, and every new year hundreds of people come with their families to watch the fireworks.

Happy New Year
Maryann and I headed into Adelaide, to Montefiore Hill overlooking the city, to celebrate the New Year watching the Fireworks. The new grandstand at Adelaide Oval is in the foreground with the high rises of the CBD in the background. A cool change in the weather meant that by midnight the temperature was a very comfortable 20C (70F)
