Happy New Year - Adelaide fireworks
This year we headed up to Light's Vision on Montefiore Hill, to watch the new year fireworks. This monument to Colonel William Light, South Australia's first Surveyor General has a view across the city he began surveying in 1836. There is a lovely park here, and every new year hundreds of people come with their families to watch the fireworks.
At midnight, 2012 was ushered in with a spectacular fireworks display

Another year has flown by. Thanks to everyone that visits my blog. It never ceases to amaze me at the diversity of people in blogland. ReplyDeletePretty much amazing! I went to Glenelg for watching the fireworks, but I don't think they were more beautiful than this one. Think of going to Montefiore Hill next year!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the fireworks Tony. WE stayed securely at home on the farm, didn't even bother to spend the night on Mt.Lofty where we could have watched the fireworks popping from the upper terrace.
