I think this is the best Sky Watch Friday yet. The things I have seen are very encouraging and the photography is spot on. I really admire your photography skills and your critical eye for composition, lighting and texture. And, I appreciate your template for this blog.
Amazing colours and silhouettes! The whole scene actually looks like something you'd expect to see in Africa! Just reinforces the universal appeal of OZ!!
Originally from the UK, I have lived in Australia since April 2004. I am a keen birdwatcher and wildlife photographer. I live on the edge of a seasonal wetland reserve on the northern edge of Adelaide. Most of my wildlife shots are taken with a Canon EOS50D SLR with a Canon 100 - 400mm L IS lens. I also use a Canon 28 - 135mm IS and a Sigma 10 - 20mm super wide angle. When I don't have my SLR with me I use a Canon Powershot A720IS. If you are visiting Adelaide, I would be happy to give information on locations for wildlife watching, or to take you out for a day if I am available. If you have enjoyed my blog, you may like to visit my website as well. www.tcphotos.net

ReplyDeleteA MAN WHO LOOKED UP AT THE SKY
A man who looked up at the sky
Saw ravens and clouds flying by.
He had to look up,
The sky filled his cup—
He’s my kind of sky-watching guy!

Love that slightly misty morning sun! The silhouettes of the trees just makes it more beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSunrise is a softer prettier time of day than sunset - it's a matter of being up early enough to capture it. Lovely photo!
