Happy New Year - Adelaide fireworks

This year we headed up to Light's Vision on Montefiore Hill, to watch the new year fireworks. This monument to Colonel William Light, South Australia's first Surveyor General has a view across the city he began surveying in 1836. There is a lovely park here, and every new year hundreds of people come with their families to watch the fireworks. At midnight, 2012 was ushered in with a spectacular fireworks display

New Year = New Look

As it is a New Year (and I'm not going to enter the New Decade debate) I thought I'd play around with a new look for my blog.

For the header photo I have chosen the Sturt's Desert Pea, South Australia's Floral Emblem.
